The AJADGC are delighted to announce that we have again partnered with KDV Sport to bring players a unique opportunity to participate in a Par 3 competition to be run in conjunction with the 2020 Cool Clubs Australian Junior Age Division Golf Championship.

Registered players can enter the Par 3 competition, which will be run at KDV Sport, just a stones throw from the event home at RACV Royal Pines Resort. The optional Par 3 competition will take place on the Sunday evening prior to event registrations and practice rounds on Monday at Royal Pines.

“Full tournament experience in a fun environment”

Tournament Director Shelly Scott: “We are trying to make sure that the Australian Junior Age Division Golf Championship is a memorable experience. We want to deliver the players a full tournament experience in a fun environment. We believe this to be the first par 3 competition run in Australia as part of a junior tournament, and who better to partner with than KDV Sport. KDV are renowned for their junior golf programs. They have great facilities for junior golfers, but it’s a really relaxed and fun environment.”

“strong focus on junior development”

KDV Sport’s Damon Foy said “We have completely renovated and re-designed our course over the past 6 – 8 months. We believe our  par 3 course is the best junior golf course on the Gold Coast. We are equally excited to support your event as the AJADGC very much aligns with our own strong focus on junior development.”

The competition will be played over 10 holes, which range in length from 36m to 130m. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd boy and girl in both the 9 and 18 hole divisions, as well as NTP’s on 3 holes. All players will also receive a free basket of range balls to experience the first class multi-level practice facilities that KDV Sport is famous for.
